LATEST FROM HAGIT* IN ISRAEL

In late August Hagit Ofran and her organization Peace Now released their most damning report ever about what the Israeli Government is really doing.

The Government they charge is now trying to "eliminate" altogether the Green Line which is supposed to be the basis for a Palestinian State. In fact the Israeli Government has escalated poliices that can only be designed to make a real Palestinian State impossible.

More than a thousand new buildings are being built in the settlements, most of these in the few remaining Palestinian areas.
Overall, construction in the settlements has nearly doubled in the past year.
Even in the "illegal outposts" new structures are still being built.
Worse yet the number of tenders for future construction in the settlements is up more than 500%!
And the number of tenders for East Jerusalem Jewish-only homes and buildings is up more than 3800%!
